I have had many opportunities to build brands in the past. But this project was different. This project is where I do not have to rely on my customer's opinion. I and my friends opened a new Aikido club. What a lovely opportunity to do a logo and build a strong brand. I never have done logos for a sports club. I sat down with my Ipad and started to sketch a vision. Here is what I came up with to present our board.
From vision to presentation
After we decided on which sketch was the best. We put some keywords - We wanted that logo to be, of course, strong, and fresh, new, we wanted to be able to work in the future a little bit more with a seasonal design. My friends also liked the sketchy look and they didn't want to lose my handwork touch.

Choosing a colours
Choosing the colours was kind of an easy task. You can find nowadays many pallets on Internet. Our club is situated in harbour city. Malmö has the vibe of the Nordic country with a blend of white beaches and green sea. (#Malmö #aikido #vibe).
Although aikido is Japanese martial. When you say Japan - you know that it is a country of the rising sun. White flag with a red dot. Famous The Great Wave off Kanagawa. That´s it!
Final touch and here we go.
